About Us

Pennsylvania Transformer Technology Inc. (PTTI) is an industry leader in manufacturing a total range of types and sizes of single and three phase power transformers and voltage regulators for the investor-owned electrical utility, public power, municipal power, and industrial markets. PTTI is a US owned power transformer company with two locations and a rich heritage that dates back to the late 1920's

Our main headquarters is located in Canonsburg, PA and is the former site of McGraw Edison. Since its reopening, our Canonsburg location has completely restructured the way it manufactures medium and large power transformers. Our sister facility is located in Raeford, NC and is devoted to small power transformer production.

Our objective and promise is to build the best power transformers, in the industry. We are reestablishing the superior product quality, work ethic, and employee pride that once made Canonsburg synonymous with world class manufacturing excellence. We continue to operate with proven technology, processes, and procedures in our Canonsburg plant that were developed and employed under Pennsylvania Transformer, McGraw Edison and Cooper Power Systems. The entire process is designed for the highest quality and reliability, which gives our transformers maximum dielectric and short circuit strength.
