Electrical Engineering degree required. Design experience is important.  The ideal person will have electrical power systems experience.  Interpersonal, communications (written and verbal), and organizational skills are important. 

Produce calculations, drawings, sketches, instructions, bills of materials, etc. for drafters and others to follow to satisfy the requirements of Marketing, customers’ specifications and the manufacturing factory.  Work with other members of design team to complete all required requirements and production schedules.  Provide technical assistance to other engineers, drafters and technical staff, and to shop floor personnel.    Use software and other technologies to complete and enhance engineering work.  Do special engineering projects related to design improvements, cost reductions, new materials, new components, or new design techniques as directed by the Head of the Engineering Department.
